Is it really? I could only imagine that mattered if you somehow feared your position on the matter is liable to change.

Well the reality is that nothing at all matters; but with regards to how I feel about other idiots in the world, knowing I'm not one of them gives me a serious dose of intellectual superiority and that satisfies my ego enough not to give a toot.
