According to the Abrhamic god and his bible, believers are supposed to obey the laws written in the book. So the problem I see is that those who preach that they follow the word of god in it's entirety, still manage to pick and choose which parts they want to follow, going against what their god wants them to do.
That's the irony. Christians are supposed to follow the word of god as he spelled out for them. They are not supposed to interpret it however they wish, but that is exactly what they all do.
