RE: Where we are headed as a species

This species will die out eventually. Every species does.
How long it will take is another matter. I don't think life is intrinsically good. If everyone stopped having children and just cared for everyone who was already born that would be kind of cool. It's fine for humanity to keep growing and growing on this planet too: as people have more and more children. But it does kind of mean that this species' demise is probably going to be a lot more brutal and many people will simply be born into this world living lives predominantly full of suffering, as humanity inevitably goes down the drain.
