Hopefully you recognize that this is what you believe to be the truth, and that by definition it is a subjective truth. The reason people wouldn't want you to raise them within the faith, is for fear that you would raise them to believe that this is an objective truth, when it is not.
I strongly believe it is an objective truth.
Do you understand the sort of proof which an "objective" truth requires? Belief in any god is an unfalsifiable idea, and this also means it cannot be proven true by the same standards as one would attempt to falsify it, if this were in any way possible.
Just in case "falsifiable" is not understood, it doesn't mean that an idea is in doubt. No scientific ideas are regarded as absolute, there remains at least the possibility that they may be proven false someday. The earth is regarded as a sphere because the earth has been circumnavigated, and we have all seen the photos from space. Proof is good enough that we can call it a sphere, but that idea will always be subject to scientific review. It will always remain a falsifiable idea, just as it was when people began to believe it, which was not through divine revelation, but by scientific inquiry. Those ideas which are not open to scientific inquiry but are claimed to be true nevertheless are unfalsifiable. Unfalsifiable ideas are true only to those who believe them, they are as impossible to prove outside of your sphere of belief through logical vetting as they are impossible to disprove in such a way to the believer, therefore they cannot be "objective truth".
Mr. Hanky loves you!
