What I am pointing out is the deserts of the world are very dry and arid places. why? because they are sun baked. that means no humidity, no ground moisture content. Do you know how rain works? moisture in the air has to reach the saturation point, condense and then fall. This can not happen over a desert unless rain is formed in one region and quickly pushed into a desert region. why? Because the ground is so dry it pulls the moisture out of the air. (Ever put a small amount of water in a dry/new terracotta pot?) It will take 100's of billions if not trillions of gallons of water simply to re-hydrate that region, which means decades before their is enough surplus to 'treat grey water.' Because 're-hydrate means humidity and ground moisture content that will allow conditions for rain clouds to form. This does not include the formation of lakes and rivers.
