1) I loved that. Much more Luke-esque of her to learn it on the fly (I know Luke was trained for a second by Yoda, but that's a far cry from going through an entire academy), and to not have the stuffy Jedi etiquette always reminding her of how she's doing it wrong, a la Ep. I and II.
2) Kylo Ren was Bow Caster'd by Chewy. If you're not buying that she beat a trained Sith, you must really not like that he couldn't even kill Fin in a duel. Haha If we're knit picking, he should have been killed by Chewy's blaster.
3) Kylo was clearly nowhere near the level of a master.
Yes i totally forgot kylo was shot by the bowcaster, which if you saw han playing with it you could see what that thing did to a regular person.
He did critically wound finn, and would have killed him if not for the force grab of rey of the ESB lightsaber.
Kylo clearly was not a sith lord as the supreme commander order general red head to collect up kylo and bring him back to him so as to "Finish his training." He also seemed really unsure of himself because of all the older sith lord relics he collected.
the knights of ren are a very old old order of sith. His helmet is that of darth Reven of the KotOR his light saber is far more primitive which can be witnessed by the bending of light around the energy blade/It looks like it is on fire when compared to the laser like quality of the Anikin/ESB blue light saber, vader's helmet and consulting or trying to channel vader/the dark side through these 'things.' All harken back to how Nazi imperialist collected relics and encorperated "magic powers" of conquerors to ensure power/victory.. all of that REEKS of insecureity even if this guy is powerful. He is pulling and wearing the mask of power other who came before wore to as to gain the automatic respect those sith lords commanded.
Once this guys training is complete, i think rey will be in alot of trouble. plus that fits the starwars Empire will strike back formula.
