I pick on the Ravens because my boss is from Baltimore and every season is the same at the office. It starts with boasts and bold predictions. As the season unfolds, he becomes nostalgic for their championship years, and we don't hear much about the current season. By the end, he's slumped in a posture of total despair for about a month.
The purple shit in his office quietly comes down, and we hear the Charlie Brown refrain of "Just wait 'til next year."
The only purple flying in the office these days is Vikings purple. That's right, my cubicle, bitches!
Awe... He sounds like a fair weather fan. Not me. I'm a supportive fan win or lose. I might not always like what the outcome is, but I will always wear my black and purple.
