If this is true you must go to a very strange university. Normal college professors are seasoned veterans of peer review. They do address weaknesses in contemporary theory. Unless you are taking religion classes arguing over how many angels can sit on the head of a pin, most university subjects can be answered using the scientific method and verified independently so that a professor that spouts out wrongly biased points of view can easily have his reputation and career ruined during peer review.
