Oh well, maybe they still lurk and if so...they know they are missed. Heart

I'm not sure if I'm referring to the same person you're thinking of, but we had a teacher whose AF name was Mr. Moncrief, who was fired for coming out as an atheist at a private school he taught at. He was great, and I was sorry to see him go.
