No, we are strong because of the Constitution, there is more than one right in the Bill of Rights. Same stupid logic theists make about the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
Our strength is in our idea of common law and civility and problem solving through a system of checks and balances and no monopoly of power for any parties involved. If all that mattered was being armed, we could be a a theocracy just as well.
