Actually, real Star Wars is defined by a remorseless, implacable darth Vader. Therefore there are only 2 Star Wars movies.

Episolds 1-3 did sort of look nice and extend the nerdy back story, so they might be thought of as third rate fan fiction produced with a big budget. Episold 6 is a sort of foreshadowing of the qualities to come with episolds 1-3.

The newest one didn't remake ANH. It aped ANH.
