Naik was on the board of trustees for the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA), classified by some organisations as a hate group. (one of whose founders, Hamza Tzortzis, went on record as saying "We as Muslims reject the idea of freedom of speech, and even the idea of freedom.") Naik has been banned, rightly or wrongly, from entering the UK and Canada for his comments urging all Muslims to be terrorists. I think that should tell you all you need about their opinions and intentions.
