Yeah, nobody is more critical or self-loathing then Americans anyway. For every flag-waving redneck, you have someone like Min who bitches endlessly about America. In some ways they are cut from the same cloth though. One believes America is the source of all good in the world and the other believes America is the source of all evil in the world. The reality is that other countries have their own agency in their own affairs. Other countries have their own problems and when your sample size of countries that you are comparing to is 'first would countries' which is a tiny amount of countries, you can always find poor comparisons. It's fine to criticize America, but America is just one part of world. We need a more global view.
