Simplified - Why doesn't/can't the church ask god directly which miracles are true and which are wannabee frauds. (and publish his exact wording)
I don't know why. I don't know why God doesn't talk to all of us people and make Himself seen and known in our every day lives. He did when he came down as Jesus, but I don't know why He left. I have a theory for it, but can't say I know for sure. For whatever reason, He thought it would be best to be a more subtle presence and allow us to figure certain things out for ourselves.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
