Basically, he said what little Bernie said about foreign policy didn't make him a better option than Hillary regarding it, who, for all of her weaknesses, would still be far better equipped to handle it than him. I defer to his judgement on this.
But he also pointed out the fact that Bernie is unlikely to win in the general election and that him winning the Dem nom would basically guarantee that the next U.S. president would be republican, given what campaign resources he's going against as a perceived "socialist". He said Bernie is an idealist and that most of what he promises is unachievable.
