Pope John Paul 2 exonerated the Jews for the death of Jesus. IE no case to answer. I thought it was jolly decent of the old fart,after only 2000 years. The arrogance is stunning. Of course the proddies all said "Fuck you!" as the gestured simply reinforced the view of many that the Pope is the antichrist.
Biblical question Min; Is "Barbabbas" a name or a title,like 'everyman'? IE Bar=Son of "Aba"=father/daddy. "Barabbas" = son of the father/daddy's boy? Or is that too obvious? I think the whole account of the trial and execution of Jesus is fanciful,including the convoluted and clumsy attempts to force Jesus to meet prophecy for the Messiah.(and failing miserably).
