Wow.  Damn.  46?!?!  They had that shit drilled into you deep.  I made it out at 19.  My parents were fundies in that they reject evolution and take it all literally but I had nothing like what you went through. Also if you were lesbian the whole time I can only imagine how confused, fucked up and self loathing you were.

Somewhat serious and somewhat joking: what if you quoted the batshit crazy verses like the one where "I long for my lover that was hung like a horse" or what if you quoted, "Ahaziah was 42 years old when he became king," one night and the next night you quoted, "Ahaziah was 22 years old when he became king"?

You know, I don't remember much about which verses got scheduled when . . . and I honestly think my Dad skipped Ezekiel 23:20.  (ha!)  It's odd, I was made to memorize and quote a verse or two - but I don't ever recall being asked what I think it MEANT.  I might have asked what "whose genitals were like those of donkeys" meant . . . very embarrassing at the dinner table.
