People seem to have cottoned on to this whole "hate Apple" bandwagon. It's not that they don't have good reasons to do so, of course. That's not my point. My point is that most of the reasons people can come up with to hate Apple could likely be easily extended to any other company of the same stature.
Except that's not really true. You can find OTHER things to hate about those companies, but not the same thing.
Don't believe me? Make an app for Google play and put it online for your friends to easily download and install. Now do the thing with the Apple store.
Download computer software to diagnose anything about an iPhone. Now do the same thing with a Galaxy phone.
Buy a charger from an iPhone 2 generations ago, and then do the same thing with a current-gen Galaxy phone.
Develop an app on Apple to use with other platforms, and then do the same with Windows.
You'll see that at EVERY step of the fucking way, Apple will cock-block you. They'll prevent you from upgrading, modifying, or othwerise improving the product YOU OWN. They'll make it hard for a new programmer to get started, and almost impossible for a new program to get distributed.
And they've been that way since the first Mac. That's where my story with Apple starts, but I'll save that text wall for a little bit later.
