Synthetic meat

They have legally defined what is or is not organic.   They can't keep people from using the word organic, ofc....that would be ridiculous, but they can and -do- keep people from using their legal classification.  

I can't get organic certification, for example...because I grow without soil and use highly processed fertility......despite the fact that my "soil" is ground up coconut husk, my fertilizers are processed versions of organically certified fertilizers, I use organically certified pesticides, certified seed, and no antibiotics.    All of it, every jot and tittle, is absurd.  Chinese factory farms meet the cert and I don't, lol.  If I tried to claim that my stuff was certified there would be legal consequences.  If I tried to use the certified products my production system would fail.  Chasing the cert costs an obscene amount of money and I;ve watched people go belly up while I was trying to get them there.  It's a major hurdle I have to overcome with every new member to the csa side.  For folks looking for my type of produce "are you certified" is the first thing out of their mouths, our relationship starts with disappointment and only sours from there.  

The "nutrient broth" would not be certifiable on account of processing.  Your crackers couldn;t be certified not on account of there being radium in them, but on account of the process it takes to get ahold of radium...interestingly.  If there were little chunks of rock -containing- radium in it, and the flour was certified.......you could have the product certified. Wink
