Hello everybody,
I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Samantha Baker. As you can probably tell, I am a Christian and I believe in Jesus. I know that idea isn't popular around here or I might not "fit in" but nonetheless it is my view point.
You might wonder why a born again woman would be interested in hanging out here? My friends in my Christian book club would be astounded and if my pastor knew... it woudl be best if he never knew actually.
I want to hang out here because I'm curious how anyone could be an atheist. I just don't get it! I mean... how could there be no God? Where do you think everything comes from??!!?
I suppose I have a lot of presuppositions about atheists. Maybe your unhappy, maybe someone (even a pastor!) was horrible to you as a child and caused you to turn away from it all (Baby out with the bathwater so to speak.) I've tried to wrap my head around folks like you, but for the life of me I just can't!
The woman in the profile unfortunately is not me. It is Michelle Bachman, a brave, courageous congresswoman from Minnesota! She is a real inspiration to me. She really is the woman who "has it all!" : she can juggle a big fancy career, kids, and a wonderful husband and still gorgeous! I sometimes wish I had her life, but then again.. doesn't everyone feel a bit of jealousy sometimes?
