I would absolutely want the option of living as long as I want to. I would not want eternal life (as in no option to end it) forced on me.
You should specify what you mean because when you say immortality, most people automatically think they would not have an option to die if they wanted to. It's a very important detail because if you think about it, forced eternal life could be a form of hell. Forever means forever. Most of us can't imagine living forever without eventually reaching the point where life would be unbearable. Eventually, you would reach the point where you have done absolutely everything you could possibly want to do and would stagnate to the point where you would want to die.
