Irrelevant. If you really think that the reason why someone might be loving doesn't matter, you can't differentiate between ethical/unethical methods. Your perspective on indoctrination must be ignored therefore on moral grounds because this is a moral question. Further, you can't differentiate between someone who is pretending to be loving in order to avoid an undesirable outcome and someone who is actually loving as you have no understanding of their motivations.
