The unconventional wording of your post ("If you want to believe the way Jesus was portrayed was fictional, fine; the funny thing is you all ask for proof, and what's more proof than God himself condescending himself down to being a human?") led me to get the impression that you were using the word to mean a physical descent. On review, I can accept that you meant otherwise and am happy to give you the benefit of the doubt.
