And what I'm saying is if Trump doesn't get enough delegates (a plurality) the RNC will try and wrestle the nomination from him. If there is a brokered convention Trump will be so angry. In that scenario he will run as an independent.
I think you're right in that scenario. If Trump has the most delegates by a lot and the RNC gives the nomination to Kasich at a contested convention instead, I do believe Trump will run independent.
Bernie running as an independent in that scenario would be just as bad. Turn a sure thing into a maybe.
