Why the whole Adam and Eve Fall story makes no sense

Free will is always being capable of choosing between two obviously differentiating options.

Just because one does not believe that one option is viable does not mean the choice is not available. It is.

Choice is always available, and accepting that reality means being a part of reality.

The story of the Garden represents, in my view, an understanding of freedom that places the blame on the man, the woman, and the serpent - but mostly the woman - but I would argue that ultimate responsibility has to be placed in god, or in realistic terms, the causes relevant to one's choice.

Of course, that's all besides the point of this thread.
