Sure. This thread started out describing the mind-boggling size of our little itty bitty solar system.  Which is not speculation, it's mathematical fact.  The vastness of the universe makes every religion ever created on this planet seem utterly absurd to me and many others.  Once you waste even a second wondering whether a deity exists or does not exist, yes that is speculation.  
    Of course, the moment I choose to assert that I find the possibility of a deity unlikely, and I relegate it to the category of leprechauns and unicorns, somebody who is certain that their imaginary friend is real gets in my face and tries to demand that I change my mind.  It's time to get out of my face now.  If your deity wants me to believe, have him tell me himself.  I won't accept anything from you.

Every person with a bit of brains knows that the universe is very very vast.
I am rather saying that your judgment about a deity that can not possibly be in charge is pure speculation.
As far as i am concern is your right to believe or not in a deity or not deity.
I don't really care whether you believe or not.
All i am saying is that your theory is pure speculation therefore your thread is worth as much as

You say .........  They also believe sky-daddy wants every human to believe (but can't convince 8 billion humans what they're supposed to call him) and will punish them for eternity if they choose the wrong name.

How do you know that I as a believer think that God will punish people for .......choosing the wrong name?

(No, I didn't go back and read my own OP.)  And there is clearly not enough evidence of a deity for me.

But most of the Abrahamic sects believe in eternal punishment, and I came from that background.  Here in bible belt hell it's the norm.

And if he does, he's not god - - he can be in charge of billions upon billions of galaxies, but can't communicate with humanity on his own - - then we don't need to waste a millisecond thinking about him.
