Why the whole Adam and Eve Fall story makes no sense

The story of the Garden represents, in my view, an understanding of freedom that places the blame on the man, the woman, and the serpent - but mostly the woman -

What makes you believe Eve was blamed more than Adam or the serpent (Satan).

Well, aside from how the story was historically utilized by subsequent generations to justify patriarchal and misogynistic norms, the text makes it clear that Adam's epic fail was due to the fact that he "hearkened unto the voice of thy wife"; and as far as repercussions go, it was Eve whose "desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
