That the repubs would rather have Hillary than Trump ought to be a canary in the mines moment, clearly it ins't. Seems like too many people have overestimated this "establishment" business. It's not as though it's an exclusive club, vote Trump in for whatever ridiculous reason you like and guess what...he's part of the establishment.
Will his supporters suddenly distrust him on account of it? Do they actually expect that he can effect change (do they think that anyone running for office could do so)? Talk about sucking the government tit. Waiting for kings to proclaim from on high. "If I could just get my boy in, gov'mint would make it all better for me and mine!"

Takes a fuckin half an hour just to ring up a few bags of feed because, inevitably, some dick in line and the genius behind the register have swallowed the koolaid and feel the need to opine at length about it right there in the loading bay.
@OP, because it's theater, and it doesn't matter. If they ace him out with faithless delegates it won;t be the first time it;s happened. Hell, it happened last election cycle.
