One would imagine that doing so would lose him his supporters, since they seem to be a'feared of politicians, of being manipulated by government talking heads. One would be wrong ofc, lol. That's not at all why people support Trump, it's just a socially acceptable thing to say when asked. Genteel bigorty, "angst" as you might put it, mmmm-mmm-mmm, makes me feel like a kid again.
