Realistically speaking, the customer is not always right and they are not always deserving of a "yes".
The customer service business has ruined society by creating a monster that will take a great deal of fortitude to destroy.
Everyone deserves to hear "no".
That is what people need to hear regularly.
A continuance of "yes" merely creates chaos. An occasional "no" creates humility and order.
Say no to yes.
In general, I feel like customer service isn't what it should be. I don't like being addressed as "bro" or "buddy" when dealing with professionals I am buying a service or good from. But I guess milennials and others find it "friendly". I prefer a more professional, but not nasty, demeanor.
I do hate to see people take advantage of workers, though. Harrassment, stealing, trying really, really hard to get employees to break a rule just for them. Reporting employees just trying to do their jobs.
At some point, "no" or "enough!" is warranted.
