Murder accused says he killed Asad Shah for disrespecting Islam

Clearly his religious delusion lends itself to irrational behaviour but it would be scary if it was an impromptu act.

Why? We had some story a couple of months ago, of a woman killing another one for being an atheist. It's not scary, just the usual fanatic procedure. These people exist and we have to deal with them several times a year. Wether it's a christian, a jew or a muslim.

I just think it's one thing that someone exposed to extreme material and radicalised could become violent but entirely different if they had no exposure and just flipped. Having said that, it would be difficult to not be exposed to stories of religious violence nowadays.
