The judge got this right. Cavanaugh didn't argue for the veracity of the religion or how not wearing a pirate costume burdened his practice of Pastafarianism. Should be also be allowed some grog and a pet parrot?

Granting Patafarianism religious status does Pastafarianism a disservice. It is clearly a parody of religion. Granting it religious status just puts it on the shelf with all the other ridiculous shit it was created to expose.
