You are attracted to what you are attracted to, but what is more important than that initial attraction is how you treat each other in a long term relationship.
I also don't like the script sold about men too, men have to be ripped, men don't cry, crap like that. The only thing when it comes to weight is if it is a health issue that puts you in danger. But outside that you should care more about how you feel about yourself than what others think you should look like.
As for men who cry. Hey, it's your party, you can cry if you want to. Just don't bawl like Jimmy Swaggart.
If by "bawl like Jimmy Swaggart" you mean in an insincere manner, sure, spot -on.
The idea that men shouldn't be expressive of all their emotions is horseshit, though.
