If you Spare the rod, You will Spoil (make no good) a Child!
Of course you think that: you're an authoritarian bully with no intellectual means of getting a point across or teaching anyone, anything. You have nothing positive to say, nothing of real value to give to the world, and so the inherent negativity of your nature comes across in everything you do. You'll hit a kid because you don't know how to teach and just want to enforce obedience without helping the kid learn right and wrong. You'll base your positions and arguments here around the bible because you have no real intellectual wherewithal and thus need to rely on borrowed authority. You'll assume bigoted stances and wish them imposed upon others by law because you can't argue your case rationally and, as with your apparent love of spanking, care more that people act like they agree with you, rather than actually changing their minds.
Just take, take, take, that's all your kind can do. Sap away the happiness of others, reduce and subtract from their wellbeing to sate your own petty beliefs, just devour people whole to make yourself feel better. That's all religion is, at its core.
ah, no.
Smacking a kid is just a tool in the parental tool box. one I am not willing to throw away. It's not my go to tool for every situation or even every child. Because all children are different and some have the capacity to be reasoned with while other do not. Pain in the great equalizer here. whether you have a smart kid or a slow one pain communicates most often where words fail. Meaning a good swat (with a cricket bat apparently) is a last resort for an unruly child.
The reason the boy in the video was paddled was because he was running out into the street durning dismissal (busses and cars entering and leaving the school), and when caught kick the teacher who caught him and spit in her face when she tried to 'reason' with the little monster.
This child does not have the mental acuity to be reasoned with in the time the general school dismissal was taking place. solution a good solid smack from the cricket bat on the B-hind.
What does it teach accountability. Now how many more times do you think will this little kid run out in the street, kick the teacher who catches him, and spits in her face if he knows he will face that bat each and every time?
