I don't think adult women that crave spankings is as a result of getting spanked as children and associating the behavior with love and care. That's just laughable bullshit. It's a submissive thing, anyone that knows anything about this should know that. When the "right" guy comes along all women get all giggly and child like with their cute like demeanors so the guy becomes someone they completely trust themselves with.
