I just thought how I would feel if I found out someone I had slept with turned out to have been born a man. I realise now that it would be of no consequence to me at all.

I must admit I'm a bit ignorant about the specifics. Maybe someone could enlighten me. Please don't laugh if these are stupid questions.

1) Can (birth) women be given modelled penises? If so, are they visually obviously remodelled?

2) Would a remodelled vagina given to a (birth) man be visually obvious, or could it pass?

I'm sorry if those questions offend anyone, that's not my intention. I genuinely don't know either of those answers. It would not personally bother me regarding 2 even if it was visually obvious, as long as I found the person as a whole attractive and I liked them.

FtMs can indeed be given a penis, there's a Wikipedia article on it and you can find surgery pictures all over the place. I obviously couldn't post them.  From the (admittedly very few) images that I have seen - yes, it is pretty obvious.

As for a MtF, it all really depends on which surgeon they go to. Most seem to pass (judging from different pictures) but some you can tell.

SRS surgeons in the UK are notoriously crappy (going by different reviews and such). That's why a lot of people fly abroad for their surgery.

And don't worry about asking questions. It's natural to be curious and if people ever got offended by that, then they shouldn't be on the Internet.
