And more lies: "I am not a fan of proselytism". You are HERE, preaching at a group of self-professed atheists, and throwing infantile temper tantrums when we tell you what you don't want to hear. What do YOU call that? No, it's not debate for your education, it's proselytisation. And for someone who isn't interested in careless slurs, you sure like to insult people.
We are intelligent adults, who rather like research. We're quite capable of choosing what we do and do not believe. You come in here to preach, which indicates that you think we're stupid and deluded and we need your guidance. This is disrespect on your part. We have no need of your god, your book, your church fathers, your theologians, and your philosophy. And we certainly do not need your infantile insults.

You have no need of my forgiveness. I'm a stranger.
But my forgiveness in this arena is given after observation of behavior. There are theists here who are well-loved, welcome members of this group. They have earned that respect by not preaching. This is not to say that they are in any way silenced. If a relevant question is posed, they state their stance on the issue clearly. Sometimes there is even quite a bit of debate. You could join their ranks. Just grow a thicker skin and do not respond to two insults with twenty - that's all it would take. You seem quite bright.
