Reading is more fundamental than allowing your brain to rot in front of the television; learn it.
I don't regret watching the film first.. sometimes I feel that the movies are better than the novels; don't misunderstand me, I respect reading a lot, but you have "Fight Club" for example, everybody says that the movie is so much better than the actual book, well if the actors are the right pick, it will be a "unforgetable" experience..
