In the family the husband is the leader. He brings money to the house. He brings the house into the picture in the first place. He brings assets to the house. Wife stays home all day with her girl buddies and watch TV. Wife takes care of the house and everyone in it making sure there is no conflict and everyone is happy. She takes care and maintains the assets husband brings into the picture for her and himself. Plus the submissive, kind, caring nature of the wife. Everyone's happy, wife gets to not work her butt off in a crowded workplace bundled with workplace politics, gets to stay home all day and watch TV, gets to go out with girls and only has the responsibility to keep her man happy. Not to mention we don't have the insane "women must be insanely skinny with huge boobs" kind of expectations. A typical provider-caretaker role.
Hey, if people in the west call this women hating then so be it, I look at it and all I see is pampering.
(this doesn't mean that career oriented women are discouraged in any way, they can work if that's their passion, they'll just be missing out.)
