I don't care if Heaven has fancy automatic gates since the state/place hasn't been demonstrated to exist. Likewise, I don't care what the all-powerful giant platypus in the Sun does with its spare time if someone hasn't provided a clear and positive ontology for it first.
Your souls going to Heaven is the egocentric response for people who don't want to death to be end. It's essentially a very sad double tragedy - there's no evidence or valid rational reason to think people live beyond biological death yet some are too immature to accept that as they continue to treat life, and the people in it, as the "door mat before the good life" that never comes.
