You say women "choose to be housewives", but I think the real measure of womens' freedom is the response they get when they choose not to be.

There's also women who "choose" to wear a black curtain from head to toe and women who "choose" to stay in marriages with abusive fucked up men. Most of the time those "choices" are made because they know what might happen if they choose the alternative.

Women are not forbidden to pursue their career prospects, more than often they are encouraged to. So now you know the response they get when to choose not to be housewives - encouragement.
