However, I would say that it is indeed quite possible for some men to simultaneously desire women, while deeply resenting women for the perceived 'control' that said desire gives them over men, just to answer your question.

I understood it when you said they weren't forbidden to the very first time. And  the second, and the third. Promoting/encouraging women to keep their asses at home isn't the the same as forbidding. Everyone's well aware of that.

If you honestly feel that life as a pet wife in your fantasy world of luxury and opulence would be preferable to pursuing your goals in programming or software engineering, then go for it; I'm sure someone out there will manage to find you fetching enough.

Well Thena, as far as our community goes, women choose to be housewives instead of pursuing careers. If what you are saying is true and husband regularly treat women as inferiors, like a dog, then wouldn't you think that the woman would be entirely displeased, look like shit with all the work her man makes her do, have regular fights at house and cops get called in etc?
I see these women daily, they look stunning, there is no stress in their face because" hubby will take care of it ", they don't look unhappy in the slightest , we don't have a single cop visit from domestic violence, and in my entire life time I've seen only 1 divorce case, which was my uncles.

Looking stunning is hardly an accurate indication of an individual's happiness, pool. If you weren't so shallow, you'd have absolutely no problem understanding that. 

It's just as ridiculous for you to conclude that an absence of police intervention for domestic violence in your community (how you could possibly be privy to such knowledge without being on the police force, I do not know) means that abuse does not or cannot occur. Economic dependence, strict gender roles, and economic stress of sole providers are well-known risk factors for domestic violence. Lack of earning/survival options is one of the primary reasons victims feel compelled to "go along to get along" and suffer in silence. 

You know, these observations don't lie, if your assertion that women were being oppressed and treated like shit were true then my observations would've been different. But these observations does match up with me asserting that they are treated as princesses, which they like, hence them lot leaving their husband.

What part of 'economic dependence' do you not understand, pool? 

I treat all my girlfriends like little princess baby's, then aren't breaking up with me for belittling, dehumanizing and treating them like dogs (as per what you're saying)... Maybe I really am treating them like gods and they like it.  Dig?  :')

And what if these "princess babies" are okay with being dehumanized and belittled? Does being able to demean or otherwise mistreat fellow humans beings means that you should?
