Never had one and wouldn't wear one to the gym. I never knew there was actually a point to them until my friend pointed it out. I can't see how much more secure they can be than a fitted pair of boxers, which is what I tend to wear.
I don't find them sexy either and they make even less sense to me wearing them for that purpose. I think they look ridiculous.
