Conservatives accusing FB of liberal bias....

It's not really disconcerting that a company would tailor their content to express their own viewpoint like Facebook has done.  It happens all the time.  It's the dishonest way they have gone about it that has everybody up in arms.

I'll give two shits about conservative crocodile tears regarding this when Fox News drops the "fair and balanced" bullshit.

Yeah, it is dishonest.  Mote.  Eye.  Plank.

The counter-example is NPR. The bias is subtle but it is clearly present in how the reports are structured on shows like "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered".

For example a typical political news story will play a sound clip from a liberal politician, then the announcer will summarize the objections conservative politicians, then interview a liberal critic to dismiss the conservative objections. Interviews tend to focus on the hard luck stories of individuals negatively affected by conservative policies. It is extremely rare for NPR to interview small business, farmers, and property owners negatively affected by government regulations imposed by liberals. The jokes on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" are nearly always at the expense of conservatives.

I'm not asking anyone to believe me just because I said so. Listen for yourself. Pay attention to which viewpoints get represented directly with sound clips versus who's viewpoints get paraphrased by the announcers. I think you'll be surprised.
