I stopped reading after that. My whole argument hinges on the idea that feminism is pointless. The other part was a strawman from your part.
It's funny because you refute my argument for why feminism is the most pointless movement by citing how women weren't allowed to vote some 50 years ago.
It's like you think we need feminism NOW for oppression that happened 50 years ago. I don't get you at all.
Clearly we are not understanding each other at all. I'm am still trying to figure out what your position is here. I don't understand whether you agree that the women's suffrage movement was needed and worth while because women were actually oppressed at one point in the past, and that current feminism is pointless because women have already earned all their rights, OR you don't believe that women have ever been oppressed in the US. Or...some other position I can't think of.
In other words, are you saying feminism was always pointless, or just pointless today?
