I know they think spirits can sense but not interact, but in what capacity are they sensing without being equipped with SENSORY organs? I mean, hell, if you knock somebody in just the right spot in their head while alive, they can lose their ability to recognize language, color, shapes, even distort what music sounds like to them...and that's just partial system failure. What happens when the entire hard drive crashes and the processor is fried beyond repair? Maybe none of our people parts matter and people come back as cartoons. Just like Casper...What the hell was that about anyway? When he was alive, he was a regular dude. But when he came back as a ghost, he's an animated sperm with legs!
