It's quite simple.
Feminism =/= Women.
Meaning, all women are not feminists. Meaning, my views on feminism doesn't reflect on my views on the female gender as a whole.
Feminists are activist groups that work towards gaining women, like western women, that live in free countries,like America, equal rights.
Meaning you only like women who won't stand up for themselves. I get it.
Me, I like a strong woman who isn't afraid to speak up for herself -- but then, I'm a strong man. I can take it.
Your mileage obviously varies.
As for your commentary about American women, I just want to point out that you just labeled us "free". Have you stopped and asked yourself why we're called that? Might it not be because of movements like the women's movement, or the civil rights movement?
Chew on that a little before you answer.
