Here are some from November 2014 of our trip through Venice, Florence, Tuscany and Rome, all taken with a Canon 550D, the EF 40mm Pancake, EFS 300mm Tele, 10-18 wide angle and the wonderful EF 85mm.
Looking out over the Maremma part of Tuscany. This looks funny because it is a cellphone picture of the Canon Display. I liked the resulting vintage greeting card-like quality and kept it.
Impressions of Venice at night (also, fighting with the perspective distortion from my 10mm lens)
Impressions of Venice
An unnamed beauty evading the Acqua Alta (after obvious, slightly corny image processing)
Unnamed couple taking a selfie in front of Ponte dei Sospiri
I have an entire collection with people taking selfies and phone pictures of artwork at the Uffici in Florence. After a while I thought it so absurd that 95% of visitors *never* looked at any of the artwork directly any more, that I started to take pictures of them.
A nice piece of propaganda:
Here is the shocking proof from the Uffici that selfies were already a thing in ancient Rome:

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
