Hormones dictate who we are. What genitalia you end up with at birth is genetic pot luck.
That's why pre-op transgender people are recommended to take blockers for their natural hormones as well as the artificial "opposite sex" hormones, to get the best results. I'm not sure, but I think it might even be unhealthy not to block your natural hormones while taking artificial ones. It's only once they go full transsex and get "the surgery" that they come off the drugs that would block their natural hormones, since their body wouldn't produce them then.
Thanks for answering that, I was always curious about that. Now I have questions for the people on this thread. When a person does complete the gender change, is there is some kind of honor code? Say for example your talking to a girl who was once a man and you want to hook up for a one night stand. Do they give them a warning such as "I like you, but I use to be a man", or does it go by a case by case basis? Would it also be wrong of them for a male who became a woman to sleep with someone, and not tell them before hand? I think it should be common practice just like, "I have warts, or I have calamity".
