This is not true.
There are several thoughts on secular morality that have objective standards as their basis.
Consequentialism is one of them.
I am an atheist, yet I believe in secular objective standards for morality. I may be one of the few, but I am in good company with Matt Dilahunty, Ronald Lindsay Ph.D., Taner Edis Ph.D., and Sam Harris to name a few.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
